Driver navigation

The driver navigation screen is a mobile-friendly view designed for delivery drivers. It shows the route for the day, the stops to visit, and allows drivers to mark each delivery as completed as they go.

What drivers see

When a driver opens the navigation screen, they see:

  • Their delivery route for the day
  • Each stop in order, with the customer name and delivery address
  • A map showing the route and their current location
  • Which items need to be delivered at each stop
  • Any special delivery notes (e.g. "leave at door", "ring bell 2B", "customer uses wheelchair")

Starting the route

At the beginning of the day:

  1. Open the driver navigation screen on your mobile device
  2. Review the list of stops for today
  3. Tap the first stop to open its details
  4. Tap Navigate to open the address in your maps app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.)

Completing a delivery

When you arrive at a stop and hand over the meal:

  1. Tap the stop in the list
  2. Confirm the delivery — tap Mark as delivered
  3. The stop is ticked off and the next stop is highlighted
  4. The office can see your progress in real time on the Deliveries page

If there is a problem at a stop

If a customer is not home, refuses the delivery, or there is any other issue:

  1. Tap the stop in the list
  2. Tap Problem or Could not deliver
  3. Select the reason (not home, wrong address, customer refused, etc.)
  4. Add a note with details if needed

The office is notified immediately and can decide how to handle the situation — for example, call the customer or reschedule.

Delivery notes and special instructions

Before arriving at a stop, check the notes displayed on the stop details screen. These notes are added by the office when planning the route and may contain important information such as:

  • Entry codes for buildings
  • Floor or apartment number
  • Customer mobility or accessibility needs
  • Packaging or temperature requirements

Tapping Navigate opens the address in your device's default maps application for turn-by-turn navigation. Make sure location services are enabled on your device for accurate navigation.

How routes are assigned to drivers

Delivery routes are created in the main Deliveries section by the office or dispatcher. Once a route is published and assigned to a driver, it appears automatically on their navigation screen.

Drivers do not need to create or edit routes themselves — they only see the route assigned to them for the current day.
