📄️ E-Control overview
E-Control is the food safety and quality section of CateringCare. It gives your team a set of digital tools to monitor, record, and verify that food is being handled safely throughout the day.
📄️ Wasted food
The wasted food section is where kitchen staff log food that had to be thrown away during the day. Recording this in real time — not at the end of the week — gives you accurate data on where food is being wasted and why.
📄️ Cooling down
When hot food is not served immediately, it must be cooled down quickly to prevent bacterial growth. The cooling down section lets you log and monitor how long food takes to reach a safe temperature.
📄️ Temperature sensors
If your kitchen has connected temperature sensors (in fridges, freezers, or storage rooms), CateringCare can display their readings in real time and alert you if a temperature goes outside the safe range.
📄️ Goods control
When a delivery arrives from a supplier, it should be checked before the goods are accepted into the kitchen. The goods control section is where staff record these checks so there is a clear record of every incoming delivery.
📄️ Dynamic forms (checklists)
Dynamic forms are custom daily checklists that your team fills in to confirm that safety and quality checks have been completed. You can create any type of checklist — cleaning schedules, equipment checks, end-of-day safety rounds — and the system keeps a permanent record of every completed form.
