Order units
An order unit is a group that receives meals together — for example a school class, a hospital ward, a company department, or a care home floor. Each order unit has its own list of customers, its own delivery address, and its own settings for when and how meals are ordered.
You manage customers and place orders within an order unit.
What an order unit contains
- Name — a clear label for staff (e.g. "Ward 3 North" or "Head Office")
- Customers — the people who receive meals in this unit
- Catering services — which kitchen(s) supply meals to this unit
- Delivery address — where the meals are delivered
- Ordering days — which days of the week customers can order
- Order deadline — the cut-off time for placing or changing orders
- Price list — any discount or surcharge that applies to this unit
- Payment terms — how invoices are handled for this unit
Viewing order units
Go to Order units in the main menu. You will see a list of all units you manage.
Creating an order unit

Then configure the ordering settings — select which days are available for ordering and set the deadline if needed.
Click Save when done.
Adding customers to an order unit
