Allergens
When you create a menu, you can mark each dish with the allergens it contains — for example gluten, lactose, or nuts. This helps guests with food allergies or intolerances make safe and informed choices.
The system comes with a predefined list of allergens based on standard food labelling regulations. You decide which ones are relevant for your catering service and in what order they should appear on menus and order forms.
Enabling and disabling allergens
Go to Administration → Allergens to see the full list.
Turn the switch on (green) next to any allergen to make it available when tagging dishes. Turn it off to hide it — for example, if your kitchen never uses tree nuts, you can hide that option to keep things simple.
Changing the display order
Drag and drop the rows to arrange the allergens in the order that makes most sense to your guests. Click Save order when you are done.
You cannot add new allergens or rename existing ones — the list follows legal allergen labelling standards and is translated automatically into the languages your system supports.
