Assignment requests

Assignment requests are a workflow for assigning specific tasks or deliveries to staff members. A request is created, reviewed, and then either approved and assigned or declined.

How it works

  1. A manager or the system creates an assignment request — for example, "Deliver to School A on Monday"
  2. The request is visible to the relevant staff
  3. Staff can accept or decline the assignment
  4. Once accepted, the assignment appears in the driver or staff member's work list

Viewing assignment requests

Go to Administration → Assignment requests to see all open and completed requests.

Managing requests

You can:

  • Create a new assignment request manually
  • Approve a pending request
  • Close a completed request

Assignment requests are useful when you have multiple drivers and want to manage workload fairly or handle last-minute changes.
