Email settings

Email settings configure how the system sends emails — for example, order confirmations, invoice delivery, and system notifications.

What you can configure

  • From address — the email address recipients see as the sender
  • From name — the display name (for example, "City Catering")
  • SMTP server — the technical connection to your email provider
  • Email templates — the layout and text for different types of emails

Setting up email

Go to Administration → Email settings. Enter your email provider details and test the connection using the Send test email button.

Email templates

You can customise the message body for:

  • Order confirmation emails
  • Invoice emails
  • Delivery notification emails

Use placeholders such as {customer_name} or {order_date} to automatically include relevant information in each email.
