SMS settings

SMS settings let you configure automatic text messages sent to customers — for example, a reminder when their order is on its way or a confirmation when an order is received.

Why use SMS notifications

Automated SMS messages reduce the number of phone calls your team receives and improve customer satisfaction. Customers know what to expect without needing to contact you.

What you can configure

  • Sender name — the name customers see as the sender (for example, "CateringCare")
  • API credentials — connection details for your SMS provider
  • Message templates — the text of each automatic message

Setting up SMS

  1. Go to Administration → SMS settings
  2. Enter your SMS provider credentials
  3. Customise the message templates
  4. Save
